Second Best Student Run Business in Canada
On May 6th Scott Metherell, owner of BigRedWorks Inc., presented his experience being a student entrepreneur at the 2009 ACE National Student Entrepreneurship Competition In Toronto. He presented, along with the five other student entrepreneurs selected from across the country, to a panel of judges at the Metro Toronto convention center. After watching all six presentations the Judges named Scott the 2009 National Student Entrepreneur Runner-up.
Over 150 students applied to compete back in January and Scott was selected as one of 4 students to compete at the regional round of competition. He presented to a panel of judges back in February and placed in the top 2 which allowed him to advance to the National competition. Scott would like to thank all of the BigRed customers for their support over the last 4 years. You have all helped in one way or another to make BigRedWorks what it is today.
